For the love of all that is holy, learn to use your DAMN turn signals.  I was cut off no less then three times on Douglas alone from East Roseville Parkway to old town by Suvs that decided they want to get over NOW.

And if you don't learn to use your signals, expect a rather pricey Acura repair bill.

This coming weekend is the NORCAL NOISEFEST, one of the longest-running experimental music festivals in the country and Sacramento's best reason to wear earplugs.

This year's Noisefest includes about 40 bands from across the continent, mostly from northern California, but all from the outer edges of the musical world.

Visit the main Norcal Noisefest page for the full scoop

More details and a whole buncha bands under the cut...

The 76 station on Lead Hill and Sunrise, next to the Hyundai dealership has gas for $4.09 today. All the other stations in the area still have their gas for 10-20 cents higher than that so this is obviously a promo deal to go to their station. So, go get some cheapo gas at the 76 station if you need it.

Money Magazine lists Roseville among best 100 places to live

By Carlos Alcala - calacala
Published 3:31 pm PDT Monday, July 14, 2008

Roseville made Money Magazine's list of the 100 Best Places to Live in the magazine's August issue, the first time the city has earned that recognition.

The city was pegged the 90th-best place, with Plymouth, Minn., coming in at the top of the list. Three other California cities made the list: Irvine (No. 4), Fountain Valley (91) and Sunnyvale (No. 94).

City Manager Craig Robinson said well-planned development, high service levels for public facilities and agencies, and jobs were the top three factors that made the city a good place to live.

Good, but never good enough to stop trying.

"We won't rest on our laurels," Robinson said.

Hm. Now we have two arcade-castles in the area. One for monsters and the other for knights.

Mood: discontent

Anyone know of a decent 2B/1B+ cottage or small house in Roseville?  My lease is up on 08/31/07, but wanting to start moving 08/25/07. Trying to find something $1000 a month or less.  I've hit up Craigslist, but it can be difficult to find reputable renters. Need to stay in Roseville due to my wifes medical issues.

Thanks!

Anybody have a belt sander and a band saw I could use for like half an hour on some foam poster board I have? I will be your best friend.

I'd go over to my old house and use theirs BUT IT BURNED DOWN.

Solved.

I am looking for a wedding location in Roseville, or within a 30 minute drive, Sacramento would be fine as well. All comments and location suggestions welcome.

*bump*
Because we are moving, and I am looking to downsize a bit, I am going to sell my surround sound system. Arrangements can be made to have you come over and demo it. I am willing to part out with the Center, Rears and Sub separately, but the Amp and Mains must go together. The hardware has NOT been abused. I will include all the wiring required. If you purchase the entire set together, I will throw in my Sony NC685V 5 Disc DVD player. This will include the following:
